Photographs of Northern Thailand

These photographs were taken in Chiang Rai province, the northern most province in Thailand and borders Burma (Myanmar) and Laos in an area better known as "The Golden Triangle". From the northern most town of Mae Sai you can enter Burma, and from there it is a short drive to southern China. A few kilometers East of Mae Sai is Chieng Saen. From there you can take a boat across the Kok River to Laos.
